• Employee Workplace Campaign - Many local businesses conduct an employee campaign during the fall.  Through employee deduction, you can make a one-time contribution or arrange to have a gift deducted per pay period.  Workplace Campaigns prove to be very beneficial to both employees and the United Way.  Such campaigns allow employees to take advantage of the ease of donating to ANY Canadian Registered Charity through payroll deduction.  At the end of the year, the full donation will be provided on their T4 Slip for taxation purposes.
  
  Many businesses also provide a "corporate match" of their employee's donations which fosters good relations and great team building opportunities.
