LEADERS OF THE WAY

Some donors are very fortunate and are able to "supersize" their contribution. We have named these exceptional donors our "Leaders of the Way".  These inspirational heroes are recognized in our annual "Honour Roll Booklet" which is published in the spring.  Donors also have the option to decline having their name published.

Patrons           $10,000-$24,999
Pillars                $5,000-$9,999
Builders             $2,500-$4,999
Leaders             $1,000-$2,499
Friends                  $500-$999

STARS OF HOPE GALA COMMUNITY SPIRIT AWARDS

Best First Time Campaign   

Presented to an organization conducting its very first United Way Campaign achieving excellent results. Consideration is given to those workplaces that followed United Way’s 10-step guide to running a successful campaign, achieving results which are stronger than expected, and building a strong relationship with the United Way.

Rising Star Award

This category recognizes and rewards the efforts of organizations running their second or third United Way campaign. Consideration is given to those workplaces that followed United Way's 10-step guide to running a successful campaign, achieving results which are stronger than expected, and building a strong relationship with the United Way.

Quantum Leap Award

This award recognizes the organization in which employees chose to make the greatest impact in the community by increasing their giving to the United Way dramatically over last year.

Leadership Campaign Team of the Year

This award is presented to the team that most successfully motivated their peers to contribute personal gifts of $500 or more, and that organized the most successful Leadership Campaign.

Outstanding Campaign Team

This award recognizes the Workplace Campaign Team that has maximized its potential and demonstrated ongoing commitment to United Way's work in the community.
